Outpatient Department

Medicine currently manages the Outpatient Performance for the Trust, including the Appointments Call Centre.

Outpatient facilities include:

  • A third suite of outpatient facilities which opened in May 2003. This has provided a new setting for respiratory and diabetes clinics. January 2006 saw the opening of the Nephrology Outpatient Suite
  • Outpatient clinics take place at satellite units within Ellesmere Port, Deeside and Tarporley Hospitals, and the division manages all Service Level Agreements
  • There is a comprehensive range of clinics provided by non-medical staff including pharmacy led, dietetic as well as podiatry clinics.
  • The Division manages the Service Level Agreement for Trust-wide Patient Transport Services


Blood Tests

If you need a blood test, the Blood Test Room is open from 8.30am - 4.50pm Monday to Friday. It is located in Outpatients 3.
