Our values and objectives
Our values and objectives
We put patients at the heart of everything we do
We recognise that there is a patient behind everything we do.
We strive to provide a quality service at every stage of the patient journey.
We will deliver the service and care I would expect to receive myself.
We will listen carefully to what patients tell me, I will act on it and I will keep the patient informed.
We won´t act in a disrespectful or unprofessional manner.
We won´t consider the patient as an inconvenience.
We have a ´can do´ attitude
We look for solutions to issues rather than accepting that nothing can be done.
We strive to do our best at all times and assist others in, and outside our service area.
We offer to participate where our skills and experience will be of value.
We take responsibility for making things happen.
We won´t say no without considering different options
We won´t pass the buck.
We take pride in the service we provide
We promote our service positively to others and stand up for the service if it is unfairly criticised.
We take personal responsibility for our roles in the service.
We do our job to the best of our ability.
We take pride in our surroundings and appearance.
We won´t be negative about our service.
We strive for improvement
We keep an open mind to new ideas, make the most of opportunities and accept when change is necessary.
We continually look for ways to improve how we work.
We use feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
We use effective communication to keep everyone informed.
We won´t be complacent about the service we provide.
We won´t stand in the way of change.
We are welcoming, friendly and caring
We treat all patients, visitors and staff with respect and dignity.
We make a good and lasting impression.
We´re approachable.
We acknowledge you when you arrive and make time to understand your needs.
We won´t give you the impression that were too busy to care.
We won´t ignore or judge people.
We respect each other
We respect your opinion even if it is different to our own.
We treat everyone as an equal.
We respect the role of everyone and their contribution to the Trust.
We take responsibility for our timekeeping and absences, understanding the impact it has on the service and others.
We won´t abuse our position or authority.
We won´t intentionally humiliate others.
