Susan Young

Susan Young joined the Countess as Director of Human Resources & Organisational Development in September 2010. She has been an HR Director in the Civil Service for the last 8 years, most recently at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Susan has held a variety of HR roles in the public sector, including Deputy Chief People Officer for HM Revenue and Customs, HR Director at the Office for National Statistics and Assistant Director of Personnel at Hertfordshire County Council.

Susan has an MBA from Cranfield University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She is married with 2 children and in her spare time enjoys reading, tap dancing and fitness walking.
