As a Foundation Trust we have new governance arrangements with
more emphasis on the involvement of patients and the public in
helping shape our future plans. To ensure that this involvement
happens we now have over 6198 public members of
the Foundation Trust, and over 3712 staff
members.

Becoming a member of the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS
Foundation Trust gives you the opportunity to become more involved
in your hospital. You can be involved in a number of different ways
to suit your level of interest. For instance, you might be
interested simply in expressing your support for the hospital by
becoming a member and receiving a newsletter, whilst other members
may wish to be more involved by taking part in surveys or perhaps
joining small discussion groups. You make the decision on just how
