      Memorial Window

      An organ donation memorial has been officially opened at the Countess. The multi-coloured Circle of Light window will be a permanent tribute to all patients and families who choose to save others through organ donation.       A local artist has donated several pieces of her work to Ellesmere Port Hospital to go in the new Kate’s Corner and Memory Lane facilities.       Caring for You Charter

      The Countess of Chester Hospital has signed up to the Royal College of Midwives’ Caring for You Charter. Head of Midwifery Julie Fogarty and RCM Steward Debbie Stowell-Smith signed the charter, which is encouraging all NHS organisations to improve midwives’; student midwives’ and maternity support workers’ health, safety and wellbeing at work. ...Read more
