Staff Training
Mandatory Training
There are certain training sessions which are mandatory for all
staff to attend. Training programmes have been put into place to
ensure all staff receive correct mandatory training to comply with
NHSLA requirements.
Clinical Staff
All clinical staff are to attend a Full Day Mandatory Training
Programme annually, this ensures they receive all the training they
require. This includes - Blood Transfusion, Corporate Governance,
Child Protection, Infection Control, Medicines Management,
Resuscitation Update, Fire, and Manual Handling.
Non Clinical Staff
All non clinical staff are to attend a Half Day Mandatory
Training programme every 2 years and complete Computer Based
Training in the alternative year. The training day includes - Fire,
Corporate Governance, Infection Control and Child Protection.
Medical Staff
All medical staff are to attend a Medical Mandatory Training
Programme. This is a half day programme and is to be attended every
2 years, completing Computer Based Training in the alternative
year. The training day includes - Blood Transfusion, Corporate
Governance, Child Protection, Infection Control, Fire and Manual
Handling.
