Estates Capital Projects
The capital projects team reports though the Director of Estates
to the Director of Service Development. The capital projects team
aims to support the core business by improving the quality of the
environment and making the best use of capital investment
resources.
The team manages a programme of building projects from initial
concept to operational commissioning using the Trusts own
management control system.

Capital Commissioning Manager- Alan Dunn
The department also employs a Clerk of Works and a project
Estates Officer.

- W&C roof
- Fertility Unit
- Operating Theatre improvements
- EdTC Lecture Hall
- Eye Clinic Waiting
- Bathroom improvements
Current Work includes:-
- Ward improvement programme (10 wards in 5 years)
- Critical Care extension
- Radiology Improvements
- Integrated Children's Unit
- Improvements to outpatient waiting areas
