Marketing and Communications
The role of the Marketing and Communications department is to
understand the needs and wants of the Trust's
stakeholders by gaining insight through engagement and research, as
well as conducting internal and external communication activities
to promote the good work of the Trust.
As well as dealing with press and media enquiries, the team
conducts the following activities as part of their role:

- Press, PR and Media Relations
- Market Research and Insight
- GP Communications
- On-line Communications
- Corporate Identity
- Trust Membership Communications
- Income Generation
- Major Incident Communications

Stephen Winterson
Director of Marketing and Communications
Stephen joined the Countess in 2007 after working in a variety of
marketing management and director roles in the Financial Services,
Mail Order and Home Improvement industries. He is currently
responsible for driving the development and delivery of the Trust's
marketing and communications agenda, with an emphasis on patient
experience and stakeholder engagement.
Stephen is a Chartered Marketer and has an MBA from the
University of Chester.

Andrew Duggan
Marketing & Communications Officer
Andrew joined the Trust in December 2007 after working
in a number of sales and marketing roles within the IT,
service and retail industries. He currently has day to day
responsibility for undertaking all internal and external
marketing and communications activities, as well as developing the
strategy of the department by leading and implementing
innovative projects.
Andrew has a PGDIP in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of
Marketing (CIM) and an MBA from the University of Chester.
