We now offer a passport photograph service, which is
6.50 for six pictures. Please call to make an appointment,
however, we can usually provide them at short notice.
Our Role
We are an Institute of Medical Illustrators
(IMI) award winning department and all our photographers are
Registered Medical Illustration Practitioners (RMIP) or are
students completing the relevant (IMI) qualification.
The principal function of the Medical Illustration department is to
produce clinical illustrative material specifically in the areas of
patient care, medical education and medical research.
Some of the services we offer include: general medical
photography, specialist ophthalmic photography, press and PR
photography, digital video recording and editing, multimedia
production i.e. CD ROMs, DVD's, website design advice.
We are responsible for the design of all patient information
leaflets and corporate documentation including the Annual Report,
the 'Your Hospital Your Choice' newspaper, the Fundraising
newsletter, not to mention the staff newsletter 'Countess Matters'
and other adhoc publications. We also take the lead on the design
of the Trust website including provision of all photography &
video clips. We provide a full design service for
presentations, posters, banners, signs etc. and offer slide and
print scanning, and much more.

Our purpose built photographic and multimedia studio is located
in the Women and Children's building, on the first floor next to
Priory Ward (34).
