Ellesmere Port Hospital

In 2010, Ellesmere Port Hospital came under the management of the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.  Ellesmere Port Hospital is a rehabilitation unit, with 86 beds across four wards.  There is no Accident and Emergency Department at this hospital.

Visiting Times
Visiting hours for all wards are 11am – 7.30pm. Visitors can discuss alternative visiting times if they have problems visiting during these times. Please avoid visiting between 12 – 2pm.

We request that visitors adhere to the visiting standards set by the Trust by making sure that no more than a total of 2 people visit their relative/friend within set visiting hours. This means that only TWO visitors are allowed to visit a patient during a single visiting time session.

Port of Call Coffee Bar
We operate a coffee bar service from 2:00pm to 4:00pm each day - staffed by volunteers.
