Ellesmere Port Hospital

In 2010, Ellesmere Port Hospital came under the management of the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.  Ellesmere Port Hospital is a 64-bedded rehabilitation unit in Ellesmere Port.  There are three in-patient wards, which include a Stroke Unit - Emerald Ward and two nurse/therapy led units with GP cover - Diamond Ward and Ruby Ward.  There is not an Accident and Emergency Department at this hospital.

  • Radiology - including X-ray and Ultrasound
  • Mental Health

    • Rheumatology
    • Podiatry
    • Audiology
    • Orthopaedics

Visiting Times

Visiting hours for all wards are from 1:00pm to 8:00pm.  Please avoid visiting between 5:00 and 6:00pm whilst dinner is being served, unless you wish to encourage/help with your relatives meals.
