Providing more for our patients

Here are some of the items that the Countess Charity has been able to purchase thanks to the support from our local community, corporate funders and grant making trusts.

 

• Our Memory Lane lounge and corridor on wards 50 and 51

                                      

• An UltraSound Breast Scanner for the Breast Care Unit

• Video Laryngoscope’s for Theatres

 

• A Specialised Bed for the Critical Care Unit

• Emily Ffion Trust have donated 3 Optiflow machines to the Children’s Unit and a Video Laryngoscope for the neonatal unit.

• A  Legacy provided a portable scanner for The Cardiac Department

• Comic Relief – Cheshire Community Foundation funded the My Life Project at Ellesmere Port Hospital

• Donations from the local community have provided a new TV for Poppy Lounge at Ellesmere Port Hospital

• 

•  Walk for Wards funded 2 spot machines for Haematology & Oncology

 

• Donations from the local community have provided new washing facilities for The Spiritual Care Centre

  

• Donations from the local community have funded a refurbishment of the Bereavement Room

  

• Tilt and Support Chairs for the Stroke Ward were provided by the fundraising efforts of Chester Rotary

 

• Thanks to everyone who supported our Vital Signs Appeal we were able to provide 85 new VSM to support our new Electronic Patient Record system. The VSM will record patients vital signs directly in to the system enabling speedier diagnosis.
