Legacy Bed

  • Emily Ffion Trust have donated 3 Optiflow machines to the Children’s Unit and a Video Laryngoscope for the neonatal unit.

  • A  Legacy provided a portable scanner for The Cardiac Department


  • Comic Relief – Cheshire Community Foundation funded the My Life Project at Ellesmere Port Hospital

  •  Thomas Cook Children’s Charity have donated 2 Kanmed beds for the neonatal unit



  • Donations from the local community have provided new washing facilities for The Spiritual Care Centre



  • Donations from the local community have funded a refurbishment of the Bereavement Room



  • A Travelling Incubator for the neonatal unit was donated by Cash for Kids



  • Tilt and Support Chairs for the Stroke Ward were provided by the fundraising efforts of Chester Rotary

New equip


  • Thanks to everyone who supported our Vital Signs Appeal we were able to provide 85 new VSM to support our new Electronic Patient Record system. The VSM will record patients vital signs directly in to the system enabling speedier diagnosis.

  • Thanks to a donation from Cheshire Community Foundation’s donor we have been able to purchase five reclining chairs for the side rooms, used for palliative care, of Care of the Elderly Ward 34.
