Ellesmere Port Hospital is a rehabilitation unit, with 86 beds across four wards. There is no Accident and Emergency Department at this hospital.

Ellesmere Port Hospital promotes the following:
John’s Campaign focuses on people with dementia but there are many others who are frail or who have particular needs who would benefit from the nurture of a family member/carer whilst they are in hospital. Should you wish to be involved and be an active part of your relatives care whilst in Ellesmere Port Hospital please contact the Unit Managers to discuss.

Maximum of two visitors per patient
We request that visitors adhere to the visiting standards set by the Trust by making sure that no more than a total of two people visit their relative/friend within set visiting hours. This means that only TWO visitors are allowed to visit a patient during a single visiting time session.
