Living Life After Treatment (LLAFT)
Living Life after Treatment is a short 5 week programme for
people who have recently (within the last 12months) completed
treatment for cancer and are disease free. The aim of the programme
is to provide an opportunity to consider some of the more common
experiences with others in a similar situation through an informal
talk and time for discussion. A previous participant commented "I
liked the informal setting and the way staff dealt with issues,
everything seemed smaller. Brings some form of closure". The
programme currently runs twice each year in spring and autumn.
