The Therapies Department here at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust incorporates Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Paediatric Therapy.
Therapists provide a comprehensive service to both in-patient and out-patients. In-patient therapists work within specialist teams and provide input to all wards. The out-patient therapists are based within the hospital, as well as providing a service in local GP surgeries, schools and leisure centers.
All qualified members of staff are nationally registered with their governing bodies, links to which can be found at the bottom of this page. The department aims to provide the highest possible standard of care for our patients, achieving this through continuous professional development and by maintaining up to date evidence based practice within each of our areas of specialty.
